I have been going to the covered bridge since I was in my mother's womb, and it's the first place I want to go when I come home from college. Their cheese ravioli is my favorite, it never disappoints. They also have homemade cavatelli, which is great comfort food. The staff is always friendly and willing to accommodate. If something isn't on the menu, they will often make it for you anyways.

Meh. Place is outdated. Food was bland. Portions were huge but nothing really special. Cheesecake tasted like a no bake. Not worth the price. Wait staff was nice though. Salad bar was small and didn't even have cheese on it.

Your typical family run restaurant. Servers are friendly and recognize you and treat you like they've known you for years. The food is good and prices decent. Love the salad bar that comes with the meals as well. Chicken francises, chicken guesippe, chicken parm are my favorites. Apparently they know how to make chicken! They have weekly specials as well. I'm a huge fan of Mondays for the all you can eat pasta. Since there isn't a big selection in Newton Falls if you end up in the area definitely stop by!

The steak is not really seasoned & just not that good for the price. The check-out lady is very rude always. I can find better food in Austintown

Great little place!! My hubby couldn't decide wether to have the veal Parmesan or the chicken Alfredo. The owner's solution was to bring him a bit of both. =) I had the salad bar and a side of spaghetti with one meatball. Long story short, excelente!!

Stopped in on a Sunday for an early lunch whilst on a ride, (mostly to rest the derriere.) They had a buffet set up, and when the waitress asked if we would be partaking and we expressed uncertainty, she proceeded to announce the features: fried chicken, shrimp cocktail, roast beef and ham carved to order, fish, pizza, mac and cheese, pulled pork, sausage, salad bar, potatoes, and I'm certain some other items that I have forgotten. While it wasn't the best stuff I've had at a buffet, it was all passable and much of it was flavorful. The day was warm, so the shrimp cocktail, (not iced, but coolish to the touch), and salad bar hit the spot, the chicken was lukewarm as was just about everything else that was supposed to be warm, but it was earnestly prepared on premise and the warmth thing may have been the fault of the guy who adjusts the flame on the warmers, (assuming there were warmers), as much as any other thing. Had a cloud of steam exited the covered servers upon opening it would have warmed the cockles of my food, but alas, no clouds. The pizza, the wife effused over, Sicilian style, and it was tasty enough, but it was cold. The baking sheet upon which it was baked just sat alone and broken-hearted, with no effort made to keep it warm via warming lamp, steam table Sterno cups or whatever. Sooo, if you want a hot meal; order off the menu. If you want a quick fix, and aren't particular about the temperature of your food buffet away!!! We found the staff delightful contrary to reviews I noted on Google. The slab of roast beef the chef carved for me was enormous, and certainly not prime rib more like a top sirloin, nicely prepared, but a bit tough...unable to finish due to size. The food all seemed to be prepared from scratch including the dressings, so hats off for effort, hats on for lackluster effort at serving buffet at temperature. For nine bucks apiece plus drinks and tip, well worth the expenditure.

Went there on a Wednesday for their prime rib. It was really good and the wait staff was very friendly. Left full and very satisfied.

Best red sauce I've ever had and their Italian cuisine is top notch. The buffets are a great value as well.

Great lunch buffet for a low price and excellent staff. This is by no means gourmet, but for the prices it is excellent food, they even bake their own bread.

First off, the red sauce is nowhere near the best ever. The food was good, and also a good value (most entrees under $15). I was there on a Wednesday, during the prime rib buffet but did not partake although it did seem to be a popular choice. I had the eggplant parmesan which was good, not great, but good. The sauce reminded me of store bought, but not the worse I've had.

I believe everything I've ever eaten at the Covered Bridge has been good, from soups and salads to dinners. The portions are large, the service is friendly and the prices are low. My favorites are their Chicken Marsala and their chicken and dumplings soup. In the past they had a Sunday buffet with meat carved while you wait, and they may have it still.

I have to tell you that I have really only eaten here on Wednesday's because they have an all you can eat Prime Rib buffet. Believe or not, it's damn good. The buffet offers pasta, rice pilaf, corn on the cob, potatoes, salad, fresh Italian bread and last but not least Prime Rib. It's actually the whole roast that the the cook/owner of the place will cut for you and ask how thick. The great thing is that if you get a piece that is fatty, eat what you can and go get another. And yes, they have the Au Jus to go with it. Very tasty and I believe it is only $10.99. (Never cared about the price, just liked the food). Loses a star because service is hit or miss and parking can be difficult (on street)
